Love Never Lost

I have read this book several times and still enjoy reading it.Mick and Carrie started their blooming romance in the USA, tragedy struck and Mick had to leave promising to come back. Carrie went on with her life working as a journalist.Fate brought them together back together. This was such a wonderful book, the description of the country seems like your there. There is comedy, misunderstanding, sadness and love ❤️

Well-written Sweet Romance

This was an interesting twist on a marriage of convenience tale. I loved how the story was clean, how the hero had a surprising career, and the lovely, fairy-tale-ish ending. Both MCs were hard workers, serious about their jobs, and caring individuals. If you enjoy clean, sweet, contemporary romance, you should check it out!

fun love story in Ireland...

A MATCH FOR THE MATCHMAKER is a standalone read with a happy ending. There are no sexy scenes so any age can read and enjoy. The story starts in the USA but is mostly in Ireland. It is a fun read and a good love story. Two of age gals going to a matchmaking festival where love is guaranteed is too good to miss. I definitely recommend it.Carrie is a writer for a big publisher. Her beat is usually crime, but in this case, she is being assigned an interview with a matchmaker in Ireland. Any reason to visit Ireland is a good idea to her so she is eager to go. However, she discovers the matchmaker is a man and just happens to be her husband that she hasn't seen in 10 years. She is nervous about going, but eager to confront him.Mick had come to the states on a visa. When it ran out, he was being sent home. Carrie had met him in a bar where he worked, and they struck up a friendship. She, however, had a big crush on him and did not want him to go. When there seemed to be no way for him to stay after his application to extend his stay was denied, Carrie suggested they marry for convenience. Knowing it was against the law they did it anyway.Three weeks after the wedding Mick got a call for home. He said he would be back and left. She never saw him again. This story starts 10 years later. She is no longer that young woman with stars in her eyes. She wants to come face to face with Mick and find out what the real story is. She leaves for Ireland with her best friend Kathy in tow. It is a fun, romantic read with bits of Ireland thrown in. I really enjoyed it and I'm sure you will. too.I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer, nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am not a bot. I am a reader, and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 9/7/2023
